Site Maintenance Assistant (Central)


The Wings CE Trust - To work across three schools - Atherton St George’s CE Primary, Leigh CE Primary school and St Mark’s CE Primary


Salary: Grade 4 £23,500 - £24,702 per annum. £12.18 - £12.80 per hour (pay award pending)


37 hours per week, working full year.


Required for as soon as possible


The Wings CE Trust are looking for someone to work alongside our school-based site teams. This position will be part of the central team working across the schools within the trust. The successful post holder will be expected to work at each of the schools within the trust as and when required.


Duties of the role and included in the attached job description.


We are looking for:

  • Proven knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and requirements.
  • The ability to carry out general repairs and maintenance over the Trust sites.
  • Experience of general/grounds maintenance, electrical/building maintenance or heating systems would be advantageous.
  • A sound understanding of cleaning methods and standards.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with colleagues.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Be able to work under their own initiative, working in collaboration with the Chief Finance Officer and Trust Business Manager.
